In the northern part of the Bay is a bridge you need to cross in Storyline C. I highly recommend building a base on the land area next to the radio tower, you will need it for a fabricator and pots for growing Fevered Peppers. Swim south-west from the emergency cache in the Kelp Forest (game marks the cache for you when you find your Drop Pod) to find a dock and a radio tower. What you need: Habitat Builder tool, Scanner This part of story takes place in above water areas in the west part of map. You also get access the last room in her Lily Pad zone base. This quest is now finished!Īfter this you can visit Maida at her greenhouse base, located on an iceberg in the far east side of the map. Climb the ladder, connect Override Module to the tower and use the tower's console. It's time to take Test Override Module to the radio tower at the top of Delta Island. Locations are with red circles and numbers marked on the map above, numbers 1 and 2 are big wrecks, 3 is a smaller wreck.Īfter scanning three fragments you can finally craft Test Override Module. To craft Test Override Module you need to learn the recipe for Parallel Processing Unit. Further down from this base is Crystal Caves biome, you will expolore it in Storyline C. Location of the cave entrance is marked on the map below (purple circle with "M" sign).Įnter the base via moonpool and after the cutscene, scan the device on the table to learn recipe for Test Override Module. After the cutscene explore the two abandoned bases, scan everything. When you reach the top you meet a new character. Keep your body heat up by travelling through caves, standing in hot springs or getting near Thermal Lily. When on the island, your target is the habitat at the top. What you need: Seatruck, Scanner, Laser Cutter Although the game's menu says you cannot make story progress in Creative Mode, this is untrue and you can in fact complete story elements. This part of story starts on Delta Island and continues in east part of the map. Creative Mode - Build anything you like without worrying about health, food and water or oxygen.Hardcore Mode - You've got one life, and when you die, it's over.Freedom Mode - This is similar to Survival Mode but you don't need to worry about food or water levels.Note that our Walkthrough pages were all written for Survival Mode, but some other aspects of this guide, such as finding the Void Chelicerate, were accomplished in Creative Mode. When you die, you typically lose belongings. Survival Mode - Maintain health, oxygen, food and water levels and complete story elements.Additionally, we found the Void Chelicerate in Creative Mode.Īfter this, you may choose to speedrun on Hardcore Mode or try other modes. We recommend beating the game in classic Survival Mode, then learning How to Build a Base in Creative Mode. There are also four game modes players can enjoy, each very different.
